About CP
Cory Paternoster is a percussionist from Lancaster Pennsylvania. He is currently an instructor for drum set and percussion privately and virtually in Lancaster, PA as well as an Assistant/Freelance Engineer at Noisy Little Critter (Downingtown, PA). He and Brian Doherty own and teach out of 627 Drum Studios in downtown Lancaster where they provide private drum instruction and rehearse for a variety of different gigs.

Cory majored in Music Recording Technology and Music Performance at Lebanon Valley College where he studied under Bob Nowak, Tom Strohman, Tim Wolfe, Dr. Jeff Lovell, and Dr. Chris Heffner. Cory has also studied Drum Set with Jim Love, Larry Marshall, Jason Lech, and Dave Lazorcik and Marching Percussion with Danny Mark and Jabin Baxter.

A drum set player since the age of 13, Cory has been moving his hands around the drums for about 10 years and has no intention of slowing down. He specializes in all genres of music but has actively gigged within Rock, Funk, R&B, Hip Hop, and Jazz fields on drum set and auxiliary percussion for years. Cory believes in making music is an emotional experience that is built around the fundamentals and tying them together is crucial. Let's not just learn to play, let's learn how to be musicians.
